laziness", и это тревожит всё больше. Потому что есть, пить и перемещаться в пространстве по-прежнему
необходимо.

- Engineering has never been a simple job
Engineering has never been a simple job. We observe an increasing fight of complexity with
simplicity on the way of progress. It happens because of one thing that we can't work-around today:
a human mind. It gives us a power to find out bright solutions and simultaneously bounces us back
when we reach its limits.
Here's a long (really long) story about an inherent cause that might lead to recent 737 Max fail.
It deserves to be read to the end line. It's all about engineering process in whole, when no one
person can handle a project as a sole job. Any project today is being cut in pieces and many people
work out its parts. And here the aforementioned battle begins.
Separation of tasks allows to handle them properly but it cuts down a whole context. For involved
parties, an information barrier exists because of high volume of knowledge separated across sides.
It's a point where simplification comes from, to allow co-working and whole job done. But
simplification means a loss of details. It really hurts.
P.S. Written with background thought about current trends in automotive industry and belief that
lessons could be learned.

Pioneers of programming steadily approach pension age. Sad. But things are not going well,
so a pension age moves up in most countries. Governments want us back? (Now you know the truth. :)
From the other side, competition doesn't care about age of participants. Here's one more opinion on
the subject, made by Emad Abdulrahim. I agree in part with him, and disagree in some points. But this
opinion is reasoned and that makes it sense and good subject to re-think.
